Took driving test here for the first time and passed. The office where you check in is to your right. Have your temporary license ready and make sure to know your car make/model, license plate number, driving school papers if you're under 18, and have an adult with a valid license accompanying you. The test itself was very easy. Practice turns, make sure to signal turns, and stop at stop signs for 3 seconds. The maneuverability test is pretty tight, so it's the hardest part. Just take your time, and if you see you're going to hit a cone, stop, pull up again, and try another time because hitting a cone is an automatic fail. Once you pass, you can go inside and get your license (paper form, actual card will be mailed later). If you want the new federal ID that allows you to fly, have proof of address and birth certificate ready.
Even thru the pandemic restrictions I think the workers here have done a pretty good job. Today was the longest I've had to wait and that's my own fault due to showing up on a Monday morning which is always one of the worst times to do these things. Even then all employees were polite and as speedy as possible in getting people in and out and keeping everyone safe.

Well, they succeeded in making it safer. It may have came at the cost of being even more confusing, but there's definitely Plexiglas. Now have a seat til we call your bingo numbers.
As awful as it is to have to go to the BMV especially during the pandemic, they had a great process to get you in and taken care of with very little issues. The staff was extremely helpful. Kudos!
