Mentor RV

For years I have passed this place while on my way to the medieval faire. Today we went to see what they had. It was a great experience they were kind and helpful and easy to work with.

Nice mid sized dealer without as much hustle and bustle as the big guys. It's worth the drive out to Madison, this is not in Mentor.

Didn't seem overly interested in sales. No used inventory.

If you have any other options to purchase an RV or get service to your RV go anywhere else than Mentor RV . They have the worst service and customer experience after the sale. Jim in sales was great but then the afterwards. The complete lack of customer service with the service department has soured the entire experience. I understand that issues with a trailer with in the year are warranty issues but how the service dept had handled them and then just blaming the manufacturer who had told me they approved for all the repairs so it is on Mentor RV who attempted to make repairs and hasn't made them. My trailer has been at their shop more this year than it has been with me. This time ( the 5th time in for the same issues) it has been there since the beginning of April. I picked it up to go camping on Thursday of last week and when I arrived after hours to pick it up I found that they did not leave my keys out for me. I had a tongue lock on the trailer and had to break it off too get the trailer. I also found the trailer main door and side outside kit door unlocked. When I reported it to them I was basically put down and told that they forgot to put the keys out and they basically didn't believe me that the doors were left unlocked. I found items missing and they told me to file a police report and turn it over to my insurance company because even if they left the doors open it is not their responsibility and they take NO responsibility for anyone's trailer that is left on their grounds. And they have no plans to replace the items. Even if it is there for service for the 5th time. If you want Excuses, poor service, no responsibilities and untimely repairs you can go to Mentor RV.nnI am in contact with the manufacturer also to try and get repairs.

So far gotta give them 5 stars since I recently bought a trailer from them
