First Presbyterian Church of Mount Vernon, Ohio

Great engaging contemporary worship service. Praise God!

This is one of the lovelier older churches of Mt. Vernon. It is very stately on the outside, although the inside could use some maintenance.

I am BLOWN-AWAY by this lady. When you expose the TRUTH and defend the BIBLE and the word of God because I wont back down from why the world is the way it is. Why people turn from churches. It's people its NOT GOD. This persons whole demeanor changed when I challenged them on there own beliefs. LITERALLY...she changed her attitude and apologize but honestly what's crazy is I have heard this from so many people. She had no IDEA what I have been going through is was a dollar factor for her. I hope that when people see this they PRAY..LISTEN TO THE HOLY SPIRIT..THEN SPEAK. I should never had to go through my entire last year that was full of nothing but broken pieces that over and above again I was reaching up and out for God on my knees because everytime I got up satan was right there to try and knock me down. So.. I just want to speak light to people who may come across churches who is basically just people ok. Alot of them shouldn't be in the position they are because instead of embracing love to all and reaching out into the community theres only a few who are operating in Love the way the BIBLE specifically says to do. I am NOT Judging them by any means. All I did was ask a simple question and I was basically rejected for 2 reasons No money and not a member ok..so that's all I will say about that. This is why it's very important to spread truth, expose hidden agendas and attacks and I cant stress enough to anyone whether you are a believer or not Love is vital. For someone it could be one positive word, prayer, call, talk, from them literally giving up on life. I'm a HUGE advocate for Suicide Prevention because I know what it's like to be constantly rejected and honestly this brought alot up from my past but do not give up. There is true people who have the Love of Christ in there heart and will NEVER ask you for a penny or have you to entertain them with your life story to get help. I've been close but I'm not dead and as Long as our savior keeps me here I will speak the truth. I will stand and be a voice for the lost, the hopeless, the rejected, the hurt. I love you guys and please dont let people like this steer you away from God because people are humans. God is love. ♡

A more caring church you will not find here in Mount Vernon. This church is truly a resting place for God.
