I spent 6 days here in 8B following a severe leg injury resulting in emergency surgery. I arrived on Wednesday by ambulance for emergency surgery. They withheld food and water while I waited for surgery, only to tell me at 11:30pm that surgery was pushed to tomorrow, giving me half an hour to eat and drink. The ER nurse told my mom she could stay the night with me, so her ride left, drove an hour home, only to have to turn around and come get her because we were misinformed. The next day, my family drove an hour back out, and sat in the waiting room for 13 hours, only for me to be told my emergency surgery was pushed back AGAIN. Finally, on the third morning, I did get surgery. During my stay, I saw my surgeon for a total of maybe 5 minutes. I had to ask to see my xray. I still don't even know where my incisions are or how many I have, and I've been home for 2 days. My experience seriously lacked communication. The only part of this experience that wasn't awful were some of the amazing people that took care of me. I'm talking about you- Katie, Shelby, Megan, Crystal, and Erin. You ladies are heaven sent, and I'm forever grateful.nnI also want to mention that the CT scan staff literally dropped my broken leg while moving me from the machine back to my bed ud83dude43 My bedding was changed once and they only cleaned me up and let me brush my teeth once. In six days.

They treated my father horrible when he had surgery here. Very negligent. They simply don't care about you and blame all of their short comings on Covid, even things that are completely unrelated. Pathetic that America has health systems like this.

Metro Health Saved my life, once I couldn’t walk a foot, but today I ran 8 miles; how’s that for a success story & testament to good surgeons.

This metrohealth always has a great staff. Very polite & they're also Expanding the parking here! Can't wait to see it all actually be finished so I don't miss my appointments!

Horrible care in general! I'm calling and leaving voicemails and no one calls me back. It seems like I'm not getting the care I need. It's 2020 and nothing has changed. It's sad.
