I volunteered at one of the events they had at the Rock community Church through a friend. Met the pastor and other members of the church. Some mouths later I moved to Garfield HTS. I felt relief that I already had a place I could go to worship. I attended a service and was alienated and looked down upon and treated horrible and made to feel unwanted and unwelcome. I still attempted to give it another shot with the same results. I was told that the pastor thought I was there to blow up the church or shot everyone. I asked the pastor about it myself and was told by pastor Dave that he did thank that and he is not sorry he thought that nor will he apologized for it. When I asked if I did something wrong he said no I didn't he then said I wasn't allowed to bring a book bag with me to carry my Bible and study material. So I'm supposed to walk 45 minutes to attend a service there but I'm not allowed to bring a book bag with me. All I wanted was to be a part of the church and was thrown to the side because I was a newcomer this is no way to treat people. And for the pastor to think he did nothing wrong in making that assumption for no reason whatsoever is just ridiculous and very prideful

Very nice place and down to earth kind people. Always looking to help others as they do with us. Every Wednesday but the 1st Wednesday they love to help out with bread &pastries. Will be told otherwise when not opened up for stock maintenance. Also opened up to those within their zip code limit on Saturdays for food and more. So drop on by, even if it is for talk or prayers. GOD BLESS you all.

I went there for the food bank it is the slowest Food Bank around one of the workers this time but several last time.got Mouthy not in a good way when they take you into the food pantry room those ladies are nice and the men that assist you out to the car five stars
