The food is great and the staff is super friendly. It is a bit pricey but it's a mom and pop restaurant. That's to be expected. We love coming here and wish it could be a regular place for us to bring our large family of 7.
The omelettes were delicious and the preserves were to die for. How have we not tried them before living in Lebanon 10+ years? I recommend Country Kitchen for a home cooked meal. Enjoy!
The best restaurant I’ve eaten at in quite a while. Great atmosphere with no “gaming it up” this place is the REAL DEAL!nnAll truckers and wives and old country music. I felt like I was going back in time. In a good way. It was so nice just to sit down and order a meal without all the fake politeness and stuff like that.nnI swear I didn’t hear a country song post 1989. And I got the steak and eggs and posted the pic. 20.19. You can’t beat that.nnIt wouldn’t surprise me if this place has been here since 1960. Good for them.nGreat food. Great service and a great part of the country community.
Nothing better then a Ma & pop shop. This restaurant has everything you need. I got the skillet with a side of biscuits & gravy. Oh and the jam/jelly was homemade so good. Put some on the biscuit & it's like having a jelly doughnut. Thank you guys & gals for keeping us truckers fed. Hats to the chef & waitresses from Chicago!
The food is delicious, the service is exceptional, a very nice place to eat. Not an ordinary restaurant. Just any choke and puke restaurant like many truck driver call it. It is a nice family restaurant great food good prices highly recommended.
