We went to this church when we lived in the area.nnThis is a socially liberal church. People are very forward, will talk to you, hug you, and will shake your hand. They are very friendly and accepting. This is really what church should be about. I've been to other churches where the people are aloof, even cliquish, and I've felt uncomfortable.nnWe are a gay couple. Since leaving the area, I have stopped going to church with my husband because people start quizzing and asking too many questions often forcing me to lie about our situation.
