Today was my first experience at The Paxton. I had the walleye dinner with cottage cheese and tater tots. The portions of walleye are very generous, I was completely full after dinner. The tater tots were nice and crispy as well. Our server was very nice she also done a fantastic job. She was there to take our drink order within minutes of sitting down, came for refills at just the right time and even brought more tartar sauce. I would recommend this restaurant, good food and great service.

This is a real Gem of family restaurants and my wife and I had the Walleye lunch special and it was FANTASTIC. The portions the Walleye were very large along with the Green Beans and Baked Potato.nThey have a broad menu and their prices were way below average and the food and service was way above average. They are worth 10 Stars.

Beef and noodle special last night (28 Dec 2020) was just fantastic. Had to wash it all down with a delicious piece of blackberry pie and yes with ice cream even though its winter! You can't go wrong at this premier old-fashioned diner.
