I called to ask for direction in how to help a veteran and Mr Highland was extremely rude and abrupt. He wouldn’t listen to my question- which was simply “who would I call in a situation that a veteran is not getting authorization for medical care from the VA for a community partner in a timely manner while his health is under the threat of a subsequent (possible fatal) stroke PER his Dr at Chillicothe hospital” and ALL this man did was abruptly interrupt me and continue to repeat “I cannot help you without the permission of the veteran”. Even when I tried to explain I didn’t need specific help for a veterans file but simply direction in what department to speak with. To which I might add- I called another VA in Another state and was given the number for the Veterans health admin /community partners- in a professional and civil way. This man is dead weight to the office that is suppose to service citizens and needs to be cut loose.

No help at all with husbands claim and submitting information or follow up to help with benefits, put forth no effort at all, didnt seem to be interested with issues, couldnt refer me to anyone that may be able to help
