St James Athletic Field

Athletic field for St James Catholic School. Kept clean and very busy for school sports during the school season. Not utilized otherwise.

The fields at St. James have been well kept since the 15 years ago that I played on them.

For as large as this parish and school is, the seating here is awful! You can either sit on uncomfortable metal bleachers or bring your own chair. But...if you bring your own chair, you will most likely be sitting in a spot where you cannot see what is happening on the field because or you'll be in the middle of the walk way with most of the people walking right in front of you. And get there early...the parking is extremely limited and you will be towed if you park at the bowling alley next door (mind you it is very hard to differentiate where you can actually park or not).

The facility is small compared to other athlete fields. The parking lot is in need of repair. You can tell no one really cares about these fields and money is being spent elsewhere. It's a shame because some of the repairs are simple but if let go can lead to bigger more expensive problems. I can only compare to other catholic school athletic fields. I know they can't do anything about the size of the field & parking lot but I hope they improve the aesthetics and keep it maintained.

The fields are always in good shape and the folks that take care of it have always been nice.
