Dr. Davitt, the check-in associate, and the doctor's assistant were wonderful; however, the check-out process and the woman handling the check-out process was horrible: not only did it take about 15 minutes to check out, but the woman behind the unmarked check-out window was very unfriendly. I explained to her that I didn't know the process for checking out (first time at this office) and that I needed my prescription from the doctor, but she basically argued with me about it. I had to explain myself several times and when she was told by another staff member that she had assumed incorrectly (and that I was correct), she told me to move out of the way for the next customer as I waited for my prescription in the waiting area.

Front desk is absolutely awful, rude, incompetent and useless. Especially the dark lady at check out. Not to mention who ever answers the phone is rude, clueless, and can never answer my questions. The older lady who techs is also quite rude. I have been coming to this office for year and will never return simply because the staff is useless. Also it’s a complete hassle to get my drops sent to my pharmacy. Worst ophthalmology practice I’ve ever been too. Not to mention the building is not up to code. I don’t know how this business is still in operation. I will be taking my family and myself elsewhere!

Terry Leach is fantastic and Andrew in the eye glass department is awesome. They both worked through issues I was having with my new glasses and made the experience a lot less stressful. The people that assist you when you first come in are always very friendly as well.

No complaint about the doctors.nHowever, the unfriendly optician was another story. It took the better part of a week for my new contacts to be ready. The office is not open weekends or evenings, so I had to take off work to pick them up. Turned out to be a wasted trip, as the lab had sent my contacts to the wrong office, so I had to go back a few days later. Also got new lenses put in my old glass frames, which were in fine shape, but immediately after bringing them home, the earpiece broke off. They're now being held together with super-glue; when I get around to having them repaired, it will definitely not be at Tri-State. I will never go back.
