We have been dealing CVS for many years, with this particular CVS (Main St, Springfield, OH) for over five years for our prescriptions. Until recently the pharmacy has always answered the questions quickly and been responsive and helpful. We recently switched medical insurance and I called today to see if a prescription they have been filling in that pharmacy for five years is authorized by the new insurance company yet, as it’s to be filled tomorrow. I waited one hour and five minutes on hold. Once they answered I spoke with an associate I assume, with no customer service skills, and didn't answer my question. She turned me over to the pharmacist, again, I assume, which again had no customer service skills, was short, and didn't answer my questions. So I wanted an hour and five minutes to be dismissed in two minutes. I know Covid has changed the world, but come on CVS, train your employees with customer service skills. I been in sales for over 40 years and if I handled a customer like you did today...I'd lose a customer!

When Mt. Airy Kroger closed last March, we had our scripts transferred to the CVS at Colerain and Blue Rock. When we had our first scripts filled and the process was so slow, we attributed it to their accepting transfers from many Kroger customers, but the experience never improved. The wait time for the phone to be answered is always 30-45 minutes. The drive through wait also is long, especially if there is a car ahead of me. I made an appointment for a COVID-19 test, and I waited over an hour past my appointment in the drive through lane. I could not leave because I was trapped between two other cars! I called to see if my refills were ready, and was told they would be done at a certain time, but they had not been started when I arrived to pick them up.I had to wait another 45 minutes for them. I believe the Staff works very hard to do their jobs in a timely manner, but they are working against a flawed system. Come on, CVS, give these employees the support their need so they can take care of your customers as we deserve. As for my family, we are on our way to Walgreen’s where they already have demonstrated efficiency and timely service.

At Elizabethton TN pharmacy on 19e, short staffed again. Called 3.5 hrs ago to get prescriptions. Came to drive thru told to come in and they'd expedite it. 6 setting waiting, would prefer not to have to set 30+ minutes with sick people, that's why we called ahead. Pharmacist is great, system sux.
