Bowen Center is the best, I personally recommend them. I’ve only had positive experiences there and plan on using their services exclusively. Was well-informed and taken care of, was able to have my first natural birth and make my own decisions and preferences

While Daniel Bowen is a great doctor, you don’t really get that experience with this practice like you used to. I switched doctors at 30 weeks and so glad I did. The refusal to deliver to any hospital besides Mercy Fairfield was just one issue. I had gestational diabetes that was way out of hand, a very large baby, too much fluid, SPD, and many issues that all were treated as soon as I left Doctor Bowen’s office and went to Seven Hills Women Center. Even the doctors at Seven Hills was confused to hear the experience I had at Doctor Bowen’s. I finally in the last 10 weeks got to enjoy my pregnancy and felt a little more relaxed since I knew what all was going on with my diabetes. Their equipment is old, they appear to just not care at all when you raise concerns. When me and my fiancé went to our new doctor we immediately felt like we were in better hands. I was given the medicine right away for the diabetes, the fluid checks were moved to weekly, not monthly pointless, aimless appts where I just complained but knew nothing of as To why this pregnancy sucked so much worse than others. Didn’t even know I had extra fluid. I got weekly stress tests and ultrasounds the week I changed doctors. I knew there was an issue but the Bowen Center acted like I was just being panicky and because of my age and the diabetes all the Test were covered under my insurance. But the Bowen center didn’t even want to do the test. The Bowen center acted like I would not get any additional care than then occasional fetal heart monitor and belly measurement. I was induced right on time and had a very healthy boy by the great doctors at Seven Hills women center. Every doctor I saw was great and never made me feel like the NP at Bowen. I didn’t even care which one I saw. But until I changed from Doctor Bowen’s office to my new group I was terrified as I had no idea what was going on. Why I couldn’t feel my baby move, or why was I so uncomfortable from all the pressure from the extra fluid. All complaints I brought up to this group and they ignored. They charged a deposit of $500 and they are still not figured out if I should have any of my deposit back 2 months later. They say $61 is all I’ll get back for their monthly listen to the heart beat and belly measurement. ud83eudd23 Also by 30 weeks better have the rest of your delivery money up front. My new group hasn’t even sent me a bill yet and I moved to them at 30 weeks. Even if my new group is more expensive it was worth it to leave for the peace of mind and not be treated like a number.

I had surgery with Dr Bowen and I really appreciate how he discusses the procedure and that he went into the waiting room and talked directly to my husband after surgery and explained everything.nHe also delivered my daughter.nHis practice is wonderful and everyone employed there is welcoming. I highly recommend

Dr. Bowen is truly an Amazing Doctor! I was looking for a doctor to at least work with me as I had two C-sections in the past and was hoping to try VBA2C. He was the only doctor in the area that would even consider giving me a chance. With his guidance I was able to have a successful VBA2C! He is very calm, informative, and let me make decisions as long as it was safe. Overall he wants what best for you and the baby. Midwife Justina and staff are wonderful too!

He was my doctor from the moment i was pregnant and deliver my daughter. He is truly an amazing doctor!! If it wasn't for him i wouldn't have known I needed a cervical cerclage. Thank you so much!!
