In awe of how comfortable the right shoes and socks make on the feet! Look forward to many milestones.
I completed a Flying Pig half-marathon training program through this location a couple years ago. I recommend that program to anyone that wants to take running to the next level (longer distance/faster time). They have pacing groups including walking and run/walk intervals so many skill levels can participate.
I seriously recommend this store! I’ve been to the other running stores, but this one went the extra mile to make sure I had the right shoes. They measured my foot (I’m a 30 year old woman and no other store has done that), which it turns out I’ve been running in shoes a size smaller than I should be wearing. They also watched me jog/ run (most stores tell you to go outside and see how they feel, but they don’t actually watch you to see if you’re running a certain way). They also had complementary beer on tap! And we’re so friendly!
Truly a store where you will find excellent service and community. They go above and beyond to help customers, from long time runners to people brand new to running. You will get personal assistance. Speaking towards the community aspect, running groups meet here and connect frequently as well. Overall a great example of a local business providing that extra touch that you won't find at a big box retailer.
