It has comfortable cushioned seats so you can read for hours without getting tired. However, I could not find some African books

It's a really nice library and would suggest everyone, even visitors check it out. They also have an archives that is free for anyone to check out upstairs. Wide selection of books and a great view.

Huge fan of Dunbar Library! However, I am still confused as to why it has such terrible operating hours. Most universities have a 24 hour library, allowing dedicated students the option to study in a familiar place, yet we're reducing our hours? I hope after the financial issues (thanks Hopkins) the university is working on, a 24 hour library can be established!

Awesome place to study. Quiet areas plus lots of open areas. Comunal areas. Even a Starbucks! The water on the entire campus is disgusting. The nastiest public water I have ever had. And I've lived in Mexico :p whoever is in charge of the water needs fired. Disgusting at the Union in Rike Hall in the library. It tastes like dirt and rusty pipes.
