American Fork Library rocks! They have a pretty great selection of books and their Librarians are present and helpful. But what really knocks it out of the park are their programs. Their yearly and monthly reading incentives and prompts are fun, their 2020 summer program was fantastic, their paint night programs are always great and their monthly themed projects are wonderful. I need to add, especially since this pandemic has gotten everything wierd, they are timely in creating their measures and applying them to the library spaces to keep everyone as safe and healthy as they can.
American Fork has brought together history, family fun and one of the greatest resources of any community into this little corner of the world. With a pavilion for parties, and plenty of shade on a hot day there is also a playground, a small log cabin home and statues to commemorate the history in the area. Although CoViD has affected things, they are often open. There are conferences rooms, study rooms, always a friend-of-the-library book sale, add they sponsor an artist on display around the library every month. It's a must-see experience as libraries go. Here's a GREAT THING TO DO at ANY LIBRARY!! Check them out!
This place is really nice. I'm reading the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy series.
I love how many activities this library has going on all the time. It’s so nice to be able to take my kids here for story time or any of the other children’s activities offered off which there are plenty to choose from. The storyteller are also so good at what they do and they seem to really enjoy entertaining the kids. They also have really helpful classes for adults. I suggest looking at their calendar to see what’s being offered each month because they always have good things going on.
Quiet atmosphere and very nice staff.
