State Library of Ohio

I love this place! It’s quiet, big, access to tons of content. Best part is the availability of so many books on their e-reader. I go through so many books it’s nice not to have to buy them. People are kind & helpful. What a gem here!

The State Library of Ohio serves as a depository for federal and state documents; this library also has a circulating collection that is similar to that of most libraries.nnThis massive collection is located in a large building that formerly had been a part of the former Jeffery Manufacturing Company [where my father used to work].nnThe Columbus Site of the Kent State University School of Library and Information Science is also located there.nnThe Ohioana Library [that includes more than 45,000 books, 10,000 pieces of sheet music, and approximately 20,000 biographical files on Ohio writers, musicians, and artists] is also located there.nnThe Columbus Advisory Committee on Disability Issues [CACDI] usually holds its monthly meetings at the State Library of Ohio though that committee occasionally meets elsewhere.
