DISCLAIMER: Loved my 2 previous care providers at this location, but they left. I dont, and cant recommend you see Matthew Adkins. He tried to tell me anemia doesnt reduce your chance of infection or illness. Every doctor I've had previously, even at hometown urgencare, seems to disagree with him. After a quick google search because he was making me feel insane, I can safely say hes wrong. Anemia is pretty common, to not know how it works is pretty concerning. I'm worried for his current and future patients. Idk if it was prejudice because I have medicaid or because I was on unemployment. I guess it doesnt matter what it was, just dont see him, lol.

Go to Clintonville instead, I was made to feel very uncomfortable after making an appointment with my home office in Clintonville for the Short North location, I had a small window of time before work they were able to schedule me very early the next day- then would not see me after multiple services at the other location, said files don't transfer between offices. The person who helped me at the desk was apologetic but other staff chimed in to make me feel bad about something sensitive.

Is it normal to call a patient the day before the appointment and cancel because there’s a mandatory meeting the doctor has to attend? Shouldn’t that have been blocked on his schedule? And is it normal to reschedule patient over a month later? I don’t know.

Michael at the front desk has no customer service or social skills. Instead of being rude and honestly inhumane, you should employ people who care for people, it is the medical field and some of us are going through traumatic struggles, so having someone like Michael talk down to me just to boost his own ego, is not a good look for not only the company, but also just not ethical.
