Half Price Books

I've been coming to this location since 2014. I've always found that they have a good selection of books, movies, music, and assorted geek paraphernalia. Staff members are always friendly and easy to talk to about books. Prices have steadily increased over the years; it's harder than it used to be to find great deals. The average price of a clearance book has risen from $2 (2014-2015) to $3 (2016-2018) to $4 or $5 (2019 and 2020). If selling items, prices are generally poor and their markup is, from my experience selling albums, books, and Lego, as much as 300%. Still, nice place, clean environment, friendly staff, good selection.

Love this place, always a wonderful selection of books! I'm really missing them right now, all the other locations just don't have the same feeling. Can't wait till they reopen.

Much bigger inside than I expected! Great quality books. Reasonably priced. Decent selection of board books for my toddler to chose from.

Selling excess books was very easy. Didn't get much for a bunch of books that were just collecting dust but maybe someone else can enjoy them. Also, a great place to browse for a fantastic range of books and music for reasonable prices!

Always helpful place, with a great selection and great prices. They'll ship another book from anywhere else in the country if needed (to your local store), at no cost.
