The owner J’hanna was very nice but had very little attention to detail. I had 13 girls and 22 services for an at home experience for a wedding. I had to edit all of her proposals/invoices she sent over (wrong pricing, wrong services, wrong counts) and finding differences in pricing and discounts she would sometimes/sometimes not offer throughout the sales process. It got to a point where I had to create an excel spreadsheet to show her the math of services and costs I needed.nnWhen we were finalizing the agreement, I asked if there was any flexibility with cancellations (her policy only outlined credit) — with COVID we had ONE girl (2 services) that MIGHT not make it due to flight restrictions, therefore she would never need to use a credit. She offered no grace or flexibility around her policies. I did react emotionally. I was already so frustrated and disappointed by the sales process (so much back and forth, hidden fees and bad math) and then it hurt that she showed no empathy of the stress of planning a wedding during COVID. I was getting ready to spend close to $3,000 (plus a huge credit card fee, and this did not including tip) and she couldn't be a little flexible to $200 work of services that could POSSIBLY be cancelled. I did call her back to apologize for my reaction because I did raise my voice, and we both agreed to not move forward with the agreement. I am now using Lacquer Gallery and they have been absolutely fantastic!!! Such a different customer experience from the start. So easy, great attention to detail, and VERY flexible and accommodating. So my recommendation to all Brides that are looking for hair and makeup services, make sure it's easy from the start!nnPlease see her response below: A lot of hate, name calling and assumptions being made. The last line is a horrible thing to say to someone who is getting married.
