Fairfield County District Library

The staff are incredibly helpful and genuinely friendly. The layout is logical and it is a very pleasant space to be in. The selection is very very good regardless of what you are looking for. Since they are part of a larger Consortium, pretty much anything you are after you can have within a few days usually if it is not currently in the system. With the inclusion of the Columbus library system, which is one of the best in the nation, and the fact that our local system is so darned good, you have pretty much the perfect information base at your fingertips. This is one of the reasons why you would want to live in Lancaster or Fairfield County.

They are amazing. Programs for children, the summer ready program, programs for teens in the summer. They have a lovely selection of book for all age groups. And genres! Professional, cozy. Cute little contests.

Friendly staff and wide selection. There's a book store and you can even rent movies and other pieces of media. My only issue is the lack of parking space. It's not that bad most days, but on a Friday or Saturday you'll be lucky to find a space.
