Athena Grand

Went to see Godzilla Vs. Kong on April 3rd, 2021 (Team Godzilla, baby!!) and it was awesome. The staff at Athena Grand was friendly and welcoming. Cleanliness was stellar as well. Wish the snacks and drinks weren't so expensive but hey, it's a business, not a charity. I get it. Still worthy of 5 stars.

Screens are big, sound is crisp and clear, plenty or room. Arcade is not bad. Seats are comfortable. I just want to be able to have butter throughout my popcorn, if they could make that happen with either given you another bag or a small box then that would work and they would get another star for a five star rating.

The size is wonderful, the popcorn is amazing, but they unfortunately had to do away with their free seasoning for obvious reasons. That's why I only gave them 4 stars otherwise, it is a five star theater. Hopefully, one day, they will offer their free seasoning again. To God be the glory.

Great movie selection for only five dollars but the snacks are fairly expensive. Also, one time, I was at this party with a friend who’s son had a birthday during the premiere of cars 3. It wasn’t opening night, but it was very fun. The best part was the tour of the upstairs where all the projectors were. It was fun being a kid. Another time I was on a field trip with Athens High School and we saw Avengers: infinity war, I think. Every other time my school was on a field trip, we were here it was to see Walt Disney Nature films on earth day. They were great. I would say, however, the best selection of films are the exclusive day-to-day films that can be found online.

This is without a doubt the best movie theater within 60 miles from Athens. We love going! Thanks guys.
