I have known Dr Sammons since I was 18, I trusted him for my colonoscopy....nHe perforated my bowl and when I returned for the first checkup after the procedure. I explained that my guts were on fire from my rib cage to my pelvis, Dr Sammons explained that happens to some people, not unusual.nnI felt this way for almost 4 months, I lost 30 lbsnWhen I saw Dr Nesbt, he did my second colonoscopy and ask about the first one....I gave the story above.nnDr Nesbt said the my Bowles were perforated during the last colonoscopy with Dr. SammonsnnDr. Sammons could have killed me, shortly after that I revived 6 letters in the mail stating that he did not want to be my Dr. any longer 3 certified and 3 normal mailnAnd that I broke a code of ethics, which code a patient can break, I do not knownnThank you Jesus for Dr NesbtnA truthful man and Doctor

Dr. Sammons, what can I say. He is wonderful. I have lived in the Athens area for 25 years. I have tried different drs but none were a good fit. My husband goes to him and when I had a health issue, he agreed to see me as a patient. He is caring, he listens to me and answers every question I have. I wish I had started with him years ago. The worse thing is I don't think he is taking any new patients.

I had stomach digesting and gas issue and spent lots of $ and money through ohio health system. The doctor prescribed pantoprazole for 3 month and the issue did not go away. The doctor asked me to take another 3 month more to see what happened.nnI feel very uncomfortable to take ppi for long term. I did some research and read some professional research paper and found that it is extremely bad to take ppi medicine for long term.nnThen I decide not to follow the doctor's instruction but follow the mother nature and help the body to heal itself rather than use medication to destroy the balance of the body.nnI spent 2 weeks to stop ppi, by taking once a day change to once two days and once every three days. The process was super tough, I had bad acid rebound. But I managed to only eat white rice Gruel, and 4-5 meals a day. At the same time, I took a Japanese herbal medicine called WEISEN-U that was recommended by my friend live in HongKong.nnSlowly, I think my stomach is back to 90% normal now after self treatment for three months. I still do not eat anything fat, not fried food and small meals + warm water at always. Beside some stomach discomfort, I lost 20 bl in 6 month and all my other blood numbers are now perfect. Never had a flu or code in the past 6 month. I guess the stomach issue is a good signal of my body that I should EAT LESS!nnI think the doctor is okay, just follow the book but I do not personally recommend stomach treatment with ppi if it's not a big stomach issue. It does not resolve the problem and rebuild the natural balance of your body. It will inhibit your body to produce acid.
