Love the bridge, hate the name. Walked the path on a beautiful spring day. Traffic noise wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Bathrooms on either end were spotless. There are designated lanes for walkers and cyclists. Stay in your lane!!! The bikes are moving quickly and its not fair to them if you block their lane. State police patrol the bridge. Wear a mask. Bring snacks and drinks. There are vending machines at either end but no guarantee of availability.nnDownload the tour app. Lots of information about the rest areas along the way and the artwork and artists.nnFree parking at either end but space is limited.

In right weather conditions makes a nice outing. It is about 3.6 miles and takes about 1.5 hour to walk or 30 min on a bike each way. There six overlook rest areas and amenities at each end. Be prepared for lots of road noise and no shade.

It was perfect to start our 2021. We Took the kids for family time. Be ready to walk a lot. Bike is better. Start Mid day so you can see the suddown and the lights. And a full battery of cell phone. And just enjoy ud83dude09

It’s a beautiful bridge and I love how they designed and created the ability to introduce waking and bike paths. They could definitely expand in the future but it’s definitely a great start. Very peaceful, calm and overall an enjoying time near the Tapan Zee

The walking lane is on the right heading north, bike lane on the left. They should have built the walking lane on one side of the bridge and the bike lane on the other. This was designed pre-COVID of course so hindsight is 20-20. I'm guessing it will be more challenging in warmer weather. Overall a great idea!
