I should have written this sooner. Last year I had such intense problems with my neck, it was challenging to sit for more than 15m without feeling nauseous. Betty got me functioning again. And even more valuable, she taught me how to listen to my body and take care of it.nnBetty is very skilled, and intuitive.nnThe low scoring reviews make me sad. Because those are people that are impatient and don’t want to take the time to heal.nYou will spend a chunk of time when you see Betty. You will get heat for 10-15m, then you will do basic stretches for 10 or so. Then Betty will ask you where you hurt. And based on that she will intuitively know exactly which stretches, movements, and exercises will get things functioning. After that, she will probably work on you a little with her hands, or another tool, depending. Then you get ice or heat.nA visit with Betty isn’t a quick in and out, because that method of treatment doesn’t really work on things that need real attention.nnBefore Betty, I had done PT for the same issue. That place had me in and out in 30m. I didn’t improve. They suggested I start using painkillers as there was nothing they could do since I hadn’t shown improvement. I went back to my doctor, with the painkiller suggestion, and she specifically suggested I see Betty.nI spent 3 months going to Betty, and I went from not really being able to work, to working. instead of being in pain most of the time, now I rarely have issues. And when I do have issues, I know how to manage it. Because being treated by Betty also comes with a mini education about your own body, injury, and solutions. But you have to be ready to take the time to invest in your quality of life.nBetty can give you a gift if you take the time for yourself. Living with pain is horrible. Living in pain dulled by drugs is worse. Betty can really help you get away from that. The gift she gave me was going back to a life where I only know pain from time to time. Not being in pain is amazing. Before Betty, I spent most of my time awake, with pain. To not be in pain was such a relief it was something that was really noticeable. Today, when I do sometimes still have “pain,” it’s nothing close to what it’s was. It feels like a dull ache. I do the stuff Betty taught me, and I have relief again.

Betty did a phenomenal job with me. Betty is very knowledgeable. I have been in and out a ton of physical therapy practices all my life and Betty for sure knows the body very well. Highly recommended!!!

Found Betty to be extremely helpful. This is my second set of therapy sessions for the same problem. After the first set of treatments, knew that she was the one to see.

Betty didn't spend enough time with me. Had 1 hour sessions and got 10 min of her time out of that hour. Too busy working on many other patients at once and very involved with constantly talking to other patients while working on me. I thought that was Very Rude and Very Unprofessional ! Waste of time. Forgot to do a few things while working with me because she was so engrossed in talking with other patient.
