An environment which is extremely comforting, a place of worship, where everyone is welcome. Provides a safe place to get to know the cultural aspect as well as the religious aspects of ud83dudd49 Hinduism. If you are in luck, you will chance upon the aroma and get to sample of some fine vegetarian cooking provided by volunteers who are members of the temple. Free yoga classes held by a family that is well versed in the practices and benefits of this ancient Indian tradition. Gita class are given by highly qualified individual and I have been to several. Indepth discussion and knowledge is provided during these Gita classes which are held on Tuesdays..

What a divine place! Everything seems to stop and everyone from every community wants to pray there. You will taught to serve for mankind there.Words can't do justice or I don't think that we are worthy enough to review Durga Temple. A place of divine ... the peace and energy you feel after entering Temple is so positive. We went in morning as well as in night. Both the time the experience is surreal..One of the best devotional place to visit in New York , very close to New York city....where we can feel good vibes in the air.

This temple is one place where I feel I am with my big family. Everyone is welcoming and understanding. I love visiting this place more coz there are no restrictions for kids. The events planned here are mainly for children. After visiting so many temples I personally relate to this place the most. Fortunate to have friends like family here and hope we continue to grow!

My both kids Nandhan and Nishanth ages 12 and 7 did not know anything about Hindi Language. They got an opportunity to attend Beginner Hindi Camp conducted by Durga Temple of Westchester. Now they are able to read basic words and understand the language and also speak few words. We were fortunate to get into the camp. We owe the entire teaching and admin team. We look forward to courses like this in future. Keep doing the great work. Thank You all so much!!!
