Would not even give this place one star but I HAD to. I am uncomfortable and disgusted by the experience I had at this place. Charging me $26.99 for a $4-7 wine that can be sold at a gas station. My friends and I went back in to complain because they charged us $85 for wine that costs no more than $25 ALL TOGETHER and she said she accepts no returns and would not help us out at all. More over, she was ON TOP of me the entire shopping experience and made my friends wait outside. She started throwing wine in bags and ringing up random charges. There are no PRICES on anything. I am reporting this place for being a fraudulent business, but please BEWARE. I'm honestly appalled.

Horrible prices... wouldn’t allow us to make a return after we realized we were overcharged on everything... lady tried to make it better by giving us a cheap bottle of wine. Never going back

have to say i agree w/ the bad reviews here. my husband told me this story after i told him mine- he had asked for a bottle of jim beam & was told it would be $30. other places he pays $13 to $15. he was floored and said so, the lady said she would go down to $20. he was so embarrassed, just paid and walked out. i just went in and because of covid you can't go any further than the front door. so i asked for either a small bottle of either a sauvignon blanc or pinot grigio. after she pulled 3 bottles for me & i asked what are the prices. i was in the same boat. totally embarrassed. they were all way too much then i wanted to spend. i said i should have told you price. what do you have for around $10-ish, she pulled one bottle out. mumbling it was a sauvignon, wrapped it up in brown bag before i could look or say anything) so i just said great i'll take it (obviously). no tax, nothing (honestly i didn't even see her ring it up on the till) but it was just the price i asked for. very sketchy. oh and the wine is more like a riesling it's awful. not at all what i wanted. it's not that hard to find a good priced simple bottle of pinot grigio. i'll never go here again. it's a shame because i wanted to support these small businesses. but not a good experience on several tries.

Ok. So I went to this store yesterday to ask for a 1.5 liter bottle of Woodbridge Chardonnay and Cabernet. The person working there told me that they didn’t have it. She said I have something similar from California. A bottle of both should not have been more than 12 dollars. She wound up charging me 49.99 for 2 bottles of cheap Cabernet from Romania and a Chardonnay from Chile that I could have bought anywhere else for 30 dollars less. She lied about what she was selling me and I didn’t figure it out until I got home. Bottom line, these people are dishonest and should not be in business. Perhaps they think they can get away with it because there are so many tourists in Greenport. Unfortunately, they are a stain to all of the other honest businesses there. Do not ever go there, unless you want to be ripped off.

Ridiculously overpriced. A bottle that cost around $12.99 anywhere else? I was charged $18.99 here. Never shopping there again and will definitely be letting others know to avoid the place unless they really like being ripped off.
