I understand that good employees are difficult to find, but this place has got to do a better job selecting people. I put the blame upon management, since ultimately they are the culprits who do the hiring. To begin with, the counter guy was outside talking to a car full of young girls as I pulled in, entered the store with no greet from him, thought he was alone. Walked into the cooler and stepped on broken glass bottle neck which would have easily penetrated my tennis shoes, just lucky to have my boots on. Then walked over to wine aisle searching for a fruity offering when the counter guy yells loudly at another employee apparently in the bathroom to stop jacking off, knowing that I was 15 ft away. Made my selection fairly quickly and when I started to reach for the 1.5 liter bottle the guys turned off the lights leaving the store pitch black and hindering my ability to SAFELY maneuver. I'm not scared off the dark, however, if I had fallen, and been injured be certain that the very first call I would have made from the ER would have been to my attorney. I am not particularly litigious but the guys took a real chance, which could have easily resulted in injury. The place is convenient so I will return, and will have a conversation with management. Bottom line, they should train better as well as hire character instead of just someone to fill a time slot.

Any bourbon that is remotely rare is at or above secondary. If your looking for a IPA, keep driving goose island was the only ipa in the walk in cooler.
