A Huge thank you to the wonderful Fire Department for their extraordinary help in getting our cat out of a chimney! These guys went to unbelievable lengths to help us. We are forever grateful!!!!!
I took a bus to Newburgh in order to visit the grave of a loved one. I was not in the best frame of mind. I got an incredibly kind cab driver who drove me to the cemetary and discreetly waited for me. He made a sad mission very bearable. He could not have been nicer. We had a lovely talk about the town's amazing history - how it has fallen on hard times but how it is trying to come back. The architecture is beautiful. The town has good bones - it just needs love.
