What a fantastic resource and beautiful location

Children's library has been very helpful and tries their best to help our young readers in their search for books. They also have alot of programs for the community of all ages.

This library is a real shame. Such potential to effect a community... practically wasted... how? Take a look at the budget (accessible through library website).nWhen 75% of a $5.2M library budget goes toward personnel and their respective benefits, how can the Roslyn community possibly expect its interests to be properly represented?nWhen the librarians are louder than patrons, how can the Roslyn community expect representation?nWhen the very director, (I’m looking at you, you four-faced career bureaucrat Mr. Shifter Gafluffo) of the library you pay toward proudly whips out an app to show the count of “days remaining” until retirement... how can we expect representation?nnOh yeah, and that psycho with the resting blunt face who you see locked up across the street staring out a window because she can’t be trusted to appeal to any of the Roslyn patrons....... yeah, she is in line to get the open assistant director position.nnGood luck!

Needs some major upgrades in terms of infrastructure and needs good staff. We are resident of Roslyn but we prefer to go to Port Washington Library though we have to drive 10 mins far compared to this library which is just 2 mins drive from home. Staff is not at all polite, depends on their mood how you are treated. Please do consider the feedback of residents and make some necessary changes.
