I was doing a whole-house renovation 9 years ago and needed custom kitchen cabinets, built-in bathroom vanities and built-in cabinetry in my home office.nnI researched several kitchen remodeling companies. Showcase Kitchens was not the least or most expensive but seemed like the most experienced. They also came highly recommended by friends who had used them for their own remodeling and my general contractor. I worked with John Starck who listened very carefully to my needs and wish-list. There were no pressure tactics, only terrific advice. He addressed my needs for all the rooms he worked on and brought up ideas and issues I had never even considered.nnBesides the beautiful cabinetry and workmanship which looks just as good today as the day it was installed, the greatest benefit was John’s advice. A few weeks ago (9 years after installation), I noticed that the pull-out drawer for the garbage pail stopped self-closing all the way. This is a drawer which is opened and closed many times during the course of each day. I contacted John who sent a technician over right away to diagnose the problem.
