My son and I went on the Sam Patch down the Erie Canal through the locks. Nice relaxing ride, the guide on the boat shares information about the history of the canal. And if you've never been through a lock it is a good experience. This was my second time going on the Sam Patch.

Great tour. Takes about 1 1/2 hours to do....wish the boat we took had an open top. But was informative none the less.
