We went there to buy jewelry and loved the location. We saw the owner, Mark, mocking the mentally challenged, using the R word and making extremely inappropriate and even salacious gestures. This is recorded on video so don’t believe anyone claiming this is false or didn’t happen. It happened in 2020. We left, for our safety as well as the children’s. What a cruel man to mock the less fortunate when he is so fortunate to have his own business. His story is sad, but true.

Blueground is by far our favorite jewelry store in Rochester (unique and lovely items, wonderful people, a mix of high and low for all budgets - the perfect place for gifts!), but Mark went above and beyond during a recent shopping trip. He is patient, accommodating, ethical, and puts you at ease the minute you walk in the door. Highest recommendation possible!

Blueground is the best, hands down! Mark is truly an expert in his craft and he is a genuine, trustworthy guy. He has a wonderful, helpful crew as well! Mark restored my grandmother's engagement ring and created a beautiful custom wedding band to match when I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for in-store. He worked collaboratively with me to ensure the band was what I envisioned and that it stayed within budget. He was upfront regarding costs, materials, and durability, and provides his honest opinion/ recommendations from a place of experience & knowledge. In addition to custom jewelry, the store is filled with beautiful pieces at reasonable prices as well. I recommend Blueground to everyone I know!!
