Out of business. We'll miss them.

There are multiple reasons for the very poor rating - mainly problems that don’t get resolved and phone calls / texts that don’t get answered. NOTHING was done on time, an incomplete kitchen held us up from moving into the house. Waiting for calls back from Michael has delayed things by months. As things currently stand, there is still a wheelchair setback problem (see end) in the kitchen (2 YEARS after project start) which Michael is not fixing, even though it was caused by his not following specifications we gave to him.nnPlease note, that if no problems come up, Dell’s would rate a 5. Michael Delvecchio is excellent with his design work, and the installer I had (Terry) was second to none. We are also a repeat customer for Dell’s.nnWe began working with Michael Delvecchio in Sep. 2014 (and gave him an initial deposit in October) for a new house we were building with wheelchair / handicap accommodations. Due to messed up orders and other problems, the kitchen took 8 months to complete, and delayed our moving into the house by over a month. The wheelchair setback problem was noted, but other things were more important (like getting into the house) so a solution was delayed. When we did move in, there was a drawer and a cupboard end panel still missing. Dell’s had these on order and they were going to let me know when these were in (that was June 2015, 8 months after the initial deposit). They never called, which was typical. I contacted Dell’s in mid-November. The secretary was helpful, but I had to place multiple calls to Michael, and finally got him to come out to the house at the end of January (over 2 months later). He came out to the house to discuss the wheelchair setback and how to fix it. We determined some parts that would be needed and he left saying that he wanted Terry (his installer) to double check our plans and take care of the missing drawer and end panel.nnA month passed, I heard nothing from Michael, I called Dell’s. A week passed, I heard nothing from Michael, I sent him an email. Finally he replied and had Terry call me and arranged to come out a couple of weeks later. The drawer and end panel were now fixed (only took a couple of hours), but the wheelchair setback has yet to be taken care of.nnWheelchair setback problem:nThe sink and one counter which is at wheelchair height need to have room under them for a wheelchair to pull underneath. Michael was provided with two sets of height / depth dimensions, one for the feet (6” setback), the other for the lap (8” setback). All the under-counter cupboards needed the foot setback, and the sink and wheelchair counter needed both. As ordered by Michael, those cupboards only have the lap setback. As a result a wheelchair cannot pull under them.
