It seems safe enough. Used this Park and Ride a few times. Small lot, but there's always a parking space.

This is a convenient location to meet people and leave your car. Seconds away from the Taconic entrances both North and South.

Park here often before we car pool up to Vermont and never had any problems... although, one time when picking up our car, we saw a car with the windows smashed in. Don’t leave anything valuable in the car just Incase.

Be careful of the pothole right at the entrance.

What a great place to park and then ride! Also a great place to just park. Wifi Hotspot here if you have a cable internet connection at home sign in required.
