Not all insurance agencies are created equal and it shows when you have an issue/accident and need help.nnI recently had an issue with my insurance carrier accidentally canceling my insurance, there was a mixup with policy number and my policy was canceled by my insurance company, not my agent. I was without insurance for quite a while without knowing it.nnI contacted Shumway Insurance and I immediately felt better. Mindy was amazing and went above and beyond to help me. She figured out the issue, corrected everything, contacted my insurance company and had it all fixed within a couple hours.nnI’ve been with Shumway Insurance since probably 2008 and I will never change brokers. Insurance is the same no matter where you go, but the agents are the ones that make the difference and Shumway Insurance definitely stands out among all the other brokers in Plattsburgh.

Todd was amazing! Worked with me to get the best price and was quick getting me in and out with paperwork on my lunch! Definitely would recommend them to family and Friends. Progressive had me at 148 and I was able to get policy at 120 with rental insurance for my apartment and rental car that I didn't have threw progressive!
