Beautiful shoppe (the extra British E is to accenuate the fashionable essence of the place) with a variety of vintage treasures. I've known Rich for years in the community when I lived there and am immensly proud of his creative reinvention. His shop is tailored to anyone, but those with a particular eye for the timeless will see a lot of treasure under one room. From hard to find collectibles, to unique heirlooms and everything and anything in between, Nutmeg Upcycling is an indispensable downtown experience that only adds a much nuanced bit of charm, whimsy and character to the city. You pretty much could find a beautiful painting, an age worn book, an early 20th century doll and/or many more interesting treasures from yesteryear. From the simple and practical, to the relics that are high prized commodities, all are within arms reach at very affordable prices. Find something as a gift for friends/family or even something for home decor. A very interesting and rewarding shop that is bringing a genuine sense of old world crafts and items back into the new century.
