Went here today after my mom had a great experience with a sales woman. Sadly I didn’t have the same experience. The man helping me wasn’t very helpful and quite rude. Couldn’t clearly explain if lines were going vertical vs horizontal on a carpet. Showed me a piece and explained it was very expensive and I have champagne taste on a beer budget. Funny since he never asked my budget and the pattern was in my range.
TERRIBLE experience working with this company. The carpet was installed poorly and the owner refused to admit there was anything wrong with it. There were very visible seams (he told me that was normal and perfectly acceptable, he also tried to convince me it was the lighting that was making the seam visible), the carpet was not run from side to side on the stairs, old carpet was not removed in some areas and was left behind, large portions were not tacked down and major damage to my baseboards was done. I had to involve the police to go into the store to request my money back because the owner Mac is seriously unstable. They finally gave my back my money after I disputed the charge with my credit card company, I asked them to please come and remove the carpet from my house, it was that bad.
The woman who assisted me had a sophisticated sense of style and design. She helped me achieve a look that I would not have had the experience to pull together on my own. The selection was extensive and, with the range of prices, I was able to purchase a quality tile well within my budget.
Good place to get good product at a good price.
I don't think this place can compete with some of the other big places like Carpetland or McSwain. The prices are higher unless you want to shop their large selection of items that are being discontinued. They are in the midst of trying to sell the property so it's likely the business will be shutting down sooner or later.
