Upstate Kayak rental and perimiter trail both are AWESOME

Great place to get the skinny on everything to do downtown and menus from the local restaurants as well local shopping tips . You can stay at their floating dock for free for 48 hours. There's a $10 fee for electricity for your entire stay. Grocery store across the bridge easy walking distance and they let you bring the cart back which is picked up at the welcome center later. Are extremely welcoming to boaters.

This is a beautiful place with the map of the Erie Canal neatly laid out on the pavement. In the weekends there is a market and music too. A great place to come and watch the meeting of Mohawk and Hudson

Very nice but disappointed in the Farmers market there were not many vendors.
