Helpful librarians.
There are people in Watervliet that can read??? Must be coloring books!!!
The recently renovated library is clean and bright. There is a large kids room, a nonfiction room for adults with comfortable seats and tables, and lots of computers for public use in the main section of the library. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. There is an outdoor sitting area with benches and an outdoor book drop for after hours returns.
Nice library with good kids room. However, there is an adult desk there, with a rolling chair that's usually unattended. Scissors, pens etc. are out that kids can access.
It's a cute library, in not a bad town (I live here in W.) However, I'm a tutor & have to go to Sanford library & E. Greenbush library during the busy tutoring times (Oct to May), to get what I need, which is a pain in the neck. Overall I like this library, but they need to get more resources.
