Cancel culture is alive and well at CohoesFamily Care. I was discharged from the practice in May with no notification. When calling to schedule a appointment seversl weeks ago i was told that its because I missed appoinments and they didnt like the way i spoke to them. I had no appointments scheduled basically only go if a body part is falling off. I had called in May to see if I could get a script for a antibody test since im a cna. I was told I would have to do a teleconference although i was not sick. I said id rather they run it by the Dr. They called back to tell me they dont write scripts for that. I said ok i have coworkers who have gotten them Ill have to find a doctornwho will. The end. In attempting to get a new primary so far its been we dont accept discharges from cohoes family care. Watch how u express your opinion there or u will become cancelled.

Dr. Olai Sam such a great doctor. Amazing! Love how comfortable I feel by been able to share my concerns with her in Spanish. Yes! She also speaks Spanish!!!!

I didn't see either of these doctors when I was there. I seen Dr. Chatthil

Just waited over 40 min for a nurse appointment. This isnt the first time. Love the Dr but they suck otherwise. Dr Sam is awesome but they really don't care about your time.

Have an over active thyroid and it’s been abnormal since I was a teen and saw dr Sam when I was 19. Have issues drinking and swallowing and I’ve been telling her since I was 19 and I’m now 27 years old and still has yet to remove my thyroid despite the issues I’ve told her about. She rather have me get an ultrasound every 6 months and tell me the same thing each time and I’ve about had enough of it. I don’t travel an hr by bus to my appointments to get told the same bs. I grow concerned the worse it’s getting and hurts to eat and drink in which I’ve complained to her. She just tells me to get another ultrasound since one she has on file is not current which it’s only a couple months old to be exact. I’m in pain and yet no one seems to care but yet charge me an arm in a leg each visit thoud83dude21
