Faith Baptist Church

A warm church family and sound, Biblical teaching from a warm, engaging Baptist pastor and his family. The theology: This is a reformed, Biblical church. The Bible message is not compromised to accommodate more appealing, liberal, or prosperity "gospel" teaching. Just sound exegesis of what the Bible actually says. Both the pastor and Sunday school instructors are well trained and very knowledgeable. The KJV is used but this isn't a strict "KJV only" congregation. The music: Traditional hymns and praise songs accompanied by top-notch pianist and a song leader. The people: You won't find any aisle-dancers here. This is not a Pentecostal or "charismatic" church but it's also not stuffy or uptight. No closed-off cliques or snobs. Just grateful sinners saved by grace. Down to earth people from diverse backgrounds. Lots of young families, senior saints, and in-between. LDS people are always welcome, and many in our congregation have come from that background as well. A Spanish congregation is also on site. (También tenemos una iglesia española aquí.) Childrens' church. Nursery. Knowledgeable adult Sunday School teaching for adults and a small children's class. Teen activities. Prayer meetings mid-week. Potlucks and get-togethers several times a year. A thriving, vibrant Operation Christmas Child program is run by devoted volunteers here, reaching villages in the farthest corners of the globe with the Gospel. Other missionary support is also important to us. Church size and facilities: The church isn't huge, but it's not tiny either. We're close and we know each other, but new people are always welcome. Inside it's comforting and lovely, with a big fireplace up front behind the pulpit. A baptismal font is on site. Note: the church entrance is around to the back of the building, facing away from the street.

I’ve been a part of FBC for 19 years. For me this church has been the family I’ve needed. FBC is a loving caring & godly group of believers who have shewed a real desire to know & love God. I would say FBC is the real deal. Thank God for my family of Faith.
