School of Music and Drama

I started learning at the School of Music and Drama about 8 years ago, starting with piano and transitioning into guitar lessons. Not only have I become very in tune with music, I have also had a very enjoyable time doing so. I've been able to consistently improve my musical abilities and have been given opportunities to show others as well. I have also started learning how to create my own music, something that my instructors have benefited me greatly in.

My son has been taking guitar and drums at School of Music and Drama for several years now. He loves his lessons. The instructors are top-notch — knowledgeable, professional, engaging, personable, patient and kind. It's been a joy to watch my son not only learn these instruments but further cultivate a love of music. I highly recommend School of Music and Drama!

Our daughter loves her guitar lessons at School of Music and Drama, and she's making really nice progress. Yesterday I noticed that she added rhythm into her chord playing, which was so great to hear! She is also enjoying her voice lessons a lot. It's wonderful that we are able to do this all virtually (for now) so successfully.

Thank you so much for making online learning available. My son loves his instructor and is learning to play the clarinet very well. School of Music and Drama is the best music school around.

My daughter has been going to the School of Music and Drama for about a year and half. She started as student who didn’t know how to hold a cello to just recently being accepted into the NJ State Youth Orchestra. My daughter’s teacher has made it fun for her to learn and she looks forward to her lessons. It’s clear the teachers here have a passion for music and seem to really enjoy what they do.
