AJ Gaines, PT, DPT

Doctor AJ Gaines was terrific. I immediately felt at ease during my first occupational therapy session ever. He is experienced and pays attention to detail. He never misses a beat and takes the time to go beyond the normal standard for his patients. I HIGHLY recommend him.

I have worked along side Dr. AJ and have been his patient for a few months now. He has put a lot of his time, mind, and energy into figuring out what was and is wrong with my hip (rare injury). He, along with Dr. Matt, never gave up trying. Dr. AJ referred me to one of the best, Dr. Vernon, and together they both figured out the diagnosis. It is a long rehab process, but Dr. AJ and the staff make it fun (never boring-to the point where I am excited to go). I leave feeling mentally and physically better (even when I feel defeated). Now I can finally run and play field hockey pain free 10 months later.nThis office is not your typical rehab facility. They are the most outgoing, fun, energetic, and most down to earth staff. The strength coaches and PTs are creative in their rehab approach. You most likely will not do these exercises in other offices because they make it functional to your lifestyle.

Dr. AJ Gaines has been truly amazing with his treatment of my MANY spine issues. Not just his manual work, but the programming of my exercises that make a huge difference in how I feel. He has been empathetic and patient and guided me through some really tough times. Some days when my struggles have me down, I leave every session feeling physically and emotionally better. I can't thank him and his team enough for all they do. They really change lives at NJSW.

What an awesome experience from the time Dr.AJ greats you until the time he gets you better. My son is 9 years old and a wrestler so he is always needing help to rehab a part of his body. Dr. AJ has helped him rehab and also in gaining more confidence in his ability to use his strength. I High recommend AJ as he has been such a blessing in helping my son with he rehabilitation!

I've had many surgeries and have gone to many places for physical therapy in the past. I can honestly say that NJ Spine and Wellness has the absolute best treatments I have ever had. Dr. AJ Gaines is presently helping me and doing a great job. Dr. Gaines puts enormous effort into helping each patient he treats. He is a true professional. The entire staff is energetic and smart and caring...and are great at what they do. I am constantly recommending them to everyone. Every treatment is all under one roof, chiropractic, PT, OT, accupuncture...even a Pain Management Dr. I highly recommend this place.
