I got a gorgeous ring for a fair price to celebrate my 25th anniversary. Sales associate, Joy, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She quickly zeroed in on my style and helped guide me through the enormous selection to find the perfect piece. I would highly recommend the store and particularly this associate to anyone!

I called before going to the store to see if I needed an appointment, I explained that my mother is allowing me to have her pear-shaped diamond for an engagement ring, but I would not have it on me, just pictures. I wanted to get an idea of my options since I was never interested in a pear-shaped diamond. Gary said, come on in; he even mentioned that he could show me some pears to see something that might compare to my mother's. I was so happy and relieved that it was ok for me to come in for this type of assistance. Unfortunately, from the moment I walked in, I felt like the sales associate Joy was judging me. I explained my situation with my mother's diamond and the fact that my boyfriend wants to surprise me, so I'm trying to figure out what would look best on me to point him in the right direction. When I showed Joy pictures of what I wanted, she said that what I like is very unusual so that I would need something custom, and she basically cannot help me unless I bring in the diamond or my boyfriend. When I mentioned that I was previously looking at Lab-created, her eyes widened, and she shook her head like it was a sin (but a friend of mine told me that her husband purchased a lab created diamond from Gary Michaels). I even told her my age and how long my boyfriend and I have been dating so that she could understand I was serious. I tried to push through the experience despite my feelings of judgment and discomfort because I hoped something would change; in reality, I should have asked for a new sales associate. I left feeling extremely defeated and like I wasted her time and mine.

My husband worked with Joy to help pick out the perfect ring...it was exactly what I wanted. Her enthusiasm for her profession is top notch. Highly recommend Joy and Gary Michaels for all your fine jewelry needs.
