Hunterdon Family Dental

I've been to Hunterdon Family Dental several times and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. This last time my teeth cleaning was below what is expected. The stains on my teeth were exactly the same as before the cleaning. I'm hoping this is not going to happen again.

Great service. Profession, friendly, courteous and thorough. Treatment plans are tailored to the individual and your comfort during procedures is paramount.

I had 4 impacted teeth that had a serious infection that was going into my sinuses . Dr. Joseph Riccardi took such great care of me I was in and out and he made sure that all of my questions and concerns were answered before I left the building ! He was super helpful and very gentle with removing the infected impacted teeth . He is amazing he is great with people and he made sure I was comfortable and okay with everything he was going to do . I highly recommend. They are amazing here especially Joseph Riccardi ! I will defiantly be going back for my fillings and cleanings ! Thank you so much Joseph and Hunterdon Family Dental !!!

1-27-21 updatenIn Dec 2020 I went in on a Monday expecting to see Dr Kaur but instead got Dr R. who told me I had 2 front teeth that needed root canals. I was shocked but I made an appointment with the Endo for today. I got all doped up so I wouldn't have my normal dental anxiety only to find out that my right front tooth was fine and my left front tooth was chipped (I knew that) and maybe needed a filling or just a crown to protect it from breaking. I loved the endo-she was very nice and truthful. Dr Kaur told me to come in at a later date so she could fix the chip tooth so I'm going on 2/19/21 for a cleaning and xrays and will do it immediately afterwards. I am grateful that both Drs Kaur & the Endo saved me from ruining my front teeth from a bad diagnosis.nnToday I had 2 teeth on my bottom right #30 & #31 removed by Doctor Manpreet Kaur. I was a wreck, my blood pressure was higher than normal & my hands were shaking. I was losing two teeth I had for over 30 years; one of them was a wisdom tooth. Both had been giving me pain. Manpreet is a woman & she was so calm, cool & collected, she made me feel at ease immediately. She gave me the injection, about 7 of them until I was completely numb; waited 10 mins and started the procedure WHICH WAS PAIN FREE. I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT. It was as if I was in a Zen state & afterwards she gave me an antibiotic and Ibuprofen for pain and gauze. I followed the directions and the shot wore off and I'm not screaming in pain. In fact there is very little pain. This was the most amazing experience I have ever had in a dentists' chair in my life. I'm going back for a cleaning in October & I don't have any fear whatsoever. Thank you Hunterdon Family Dental & Dr Kaur for getting rid of the two teeth that hurt me and for making it a good experience.

I wouldn't recommend this practice to anyone. 16 of my teeth were pulled at one visit. I was not provided any after instructions, medication or anything. Sadly,I'm on medicaid and was treated poorly. I had all my teeth removed on Sept,3rd,2020. Only to end up with severe oral infection which required emergency hospital treatment and 2 weeks on triple antibiotic. I had rotten, discolored stitches coming out of my gums for almost 3 months. I was treated poorly by staff and manager Anthony for complaining about my treatment. 3 and a half months into my ordeal I felt something in my gum line.Raven an assistant told me that it was just my lip. After exrays were taken indeed it showed bone fragments and again had to endure another surgery. I've been going through this insanity for 6 months now with mistake after mistake been made at their lab and office. Have gone back 4 times for fitting for my dentures. They were always too big and not the color I had chosen.Dr.Karh put permanent marker on my lip while making a mold for my dentures. She denied it. Just like my lip was actually a piece of bone. On March 5 I went in for a final fitting only for it to be wrong again. I was upset and made that clear. Max another assistant told me that they had done me a solid by pulling all my teeth. I was appalled and made it known only to have the manger Anthony come running into my treatment room not wearing a mask and arguing with me while I too had no mask on because I was being fitted. He threatened me that he would call the cops. I told him that he can't bully me. He threatened to call my insurance iand drop me from their practice and refused to treat me. I filled a complaint with my insurance company,the office is dragging their feet,mainly by the manager Anthony and not sending my insurance company any information on my treatment. I also filled a formal complaint against Anthony himself for entering my treatment room without a mask and jeopardizing my health and we'll being. I was feeling sick two days later and am now waiting on my results for my covid-19 results. This has been a complete nightmare. STAY AWY from this butcher shop.
