Dr. Robert L. Gonzalez-Molina, DDS

I never had a cavity in my life until I started seeing Dr. Gonzalez ten years ago and then I had one at every visit (which always resulted in a follow-up visit to fill). He gave x-rays every six months, which is not industry-wide practice; he also does the cleanings himself and does not have a hygienist, which I always found odd. I started getting suspicious that all the cavities Dr. G kept finding were made up and so I decided to get a second opinion about a year ago when Dr. G told me that one of my teeth was in such bad shape, I'd need a root canal soon.nnI saw a highly-acclaimed and beloved dentist in my neighborhood in brooklyn who told me my teeth were perfect. I mentioned the tooth that Dr. G said was close to needing a root canal, and my new dentist said there was literally nothing wrong with it.nnToday, my husband, who also saw Dr. G for many years saw my new dentist. Imagine his surprise when the new dentist took a look at a tooth that Dr. G insisted needed to be extracted and told my husband it was totally fine.nnWe feel so conned, and I feel sick to my stomach at the thought of all the teeth Dr. G filled in my mouth that didn't need any fillings! He should be behind bars.
