Curtis High School really gets a bad rap but is ACTUALLY one of the best High Schools in New York! Anyone who thinks otherwise is more than likely the typical entitlement seeker and the type who wants things handed to them. The Guidance Counselors go BEYOND the call of duty as do the teachers and coaches! I'd like to especially shout out Coach Thalia Sutton and Mr. Frank Cho! These two individuals are gems and I am grateful for their dedication!

The school is ok I graduated here. The students inside are crazy. Every single day a fight was seen in the hall. Great programs for ESL students and the teachers are all nice. ok school overall

Curtis has its ups and downs but for the past few months we just lost a Curtis student named Miles. And since then there have been less fights . And yes the learning and teaching does need to be improve but I think it will , As a sophomore my classmates and I must be patient .

If you look for the help, you will find it. Make friends with every teacher before you actually need them.
