Garden State Healthcare Associates, Llc

This is the company that manages, among others, the Hoboken University Medical Center. Beware, they will rip you off. I stayed at the Hoboken hospital for an appendicitis surgery, an urgent situation. I thought my Aetna plan would cover most costs, but the way Garden State bills you and the way they send people to visit you in the room only to add to expenses, made the total bill a nightmare. Aetna refused to pay for several items, even in the urgent care situation. So, check before going to a medical institution if they have links with Garden State Healthcare Associates. If so, forget it, unless you have plenty of money.
