Dr. Ella Korobova, DDS

Dr. Korobova is incredibly kind, thorough, and skilled at what she does. The office staff is a pleasure to communicate with and she truly wants the best for her patients. She can be tough on you especially if you aren't following proper hygiene instructions but she means well. I used to be afraid of going to the dentist. Not anymore!

I have been a patient of Dr. Korobova for over 15 years despite some shortcomings such as the inability to communicate effectively with her patients and being heavy handed during cleanings & procedures. For these reasons, I finally decided to try another dentist and informed her that I was switching dentists simply because I found someone more conveniently located (that was not entirely accurate) as I wanted to leave on good terms. Three months later, I had an issue and contacted Dr. Korobova since this new dentist was not accepting my Cigna insurance. She did not return my phone call right away despite leaving her a message that I had a problem. Finally, she called me only to tell me that she was leaving town the next day but gave me the choice to find someone sooner or to wait when she returned. I chose to wait and made that appointment which was a little over a week. Fast forward to the day of the appointment, and she calls me to inform me at the very last minute that she is sick with a cold and cannot see me today. She also indicated that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer and doesn’t know when she will be able to see me in the future. All of this seemed very suspicious so I called her back to ask if she was upset about me seeing another dentist and she said yes. So now I am wondering which one is it? Are you sick, do you really have cancer or are you just upset? The reason I am leaving this review, is if you truly cared about your patient’s well-being, then you could have handled this situation differently - maybe more professionally or just been honest with me.
